- On the left hand menu, select Collections and then Carousel Images.
- Select Add New near the top of the page. Enter a title and a description for your image. The title and description will display on your page on the Image Carousel.
- If desired, you can add a URL to make the image a link.
- To specify the image, select the Set featured image link.
- On the default tab of the pop up menu (Media Library), you can select an image that you have previously uploaded to you Media collection. If you would like to upload a new image, select the Upload Files tab to upload files. When you upload an image, it is automatically selected. You can tell you have selected an image by the blue checkbox and outline around the image.
- Set the Alt Text for the image - remember this should be a description of the image for persons using screen readers and should not contain any abbreviations. When you have selected your image, click the Set featured image button.
- You can set the image to expire. This will automatically remove the image from any carousels on a certain date. This is a way to make sure expired content does not appear on the site. For example, if you have an image promoting an upcoming event, you can set it to expire after the event occurs.
- When you have completed your configuration of the image, select the Publish button to activate the image.

Once you have uploaded all of the images you would like to include in your carousel to your Carousel Image collection, you can add an Image Carousel to your page using Zuse Create. Make sure you have an understanding of using Zuse Create.
