An Image Carousel is a scrolling collection of images which you you can add to your site. It is a way to highlight a set of images or stories.

Upload Carousel Images to Collections
Before you can build your Image Carousel, you need to build your slides, or Carousel Images, in Collections. Images that have been uploaded to your Media collection cannot be directly added to an Image Carousel - they first need to be added to the Carousel Image collection.
On the left hand menu, select Collections and then Carousel Images.
Select Add New near the top of the page. Enter a title and a description for your image. The title and description will display on your page on the Image Carousel.
If desired, you can add a URL to make the image a link.
To specify the image, select the Set featured image link.
On the default tab of the pop up menu (Media Library), you can select an image that you have previously uploaded to you Media collection. If you would like to upload a new image, select the Upload Files tab to upload files. When you upload an image, it is automatically selected. You can tell you have selected an image by the blue checkbox and outline around the image.

Set the Alt Text for the image - remember this should be a description of the image for persons using screen readers and should not contain any abbreviations. When you have selected your image, click the Set featured image button.

When you have completed your configuration of the image, select the Publish button to activate the image.
Enable an Event or Post for Addition to an Image Carousel

Once you have uploaded all of the images you would like to include in your carousel to your Carousel Image collection, you can add an Image Carousel to your page using Zuse Create. Make sure you understand using Zuse Create.
To insert an Image Carousel, insert a new module on your page and select Carousel.

On the Items tab, search to select the carousel images or other content to include in the carousel. You can override the title or description specified in the collection here. If you don't edit the title or description, the settings from the Carousel Image collection item will display. You can drag and drop the individual items to change the order of display. The top image will be the first to display.

On the Display Options tab, you can select whether to use the standard navigation indicators (little gray circles) or if you want to use thumbnails of the images for navigation. You can also specify the transition effect which determines how the it looks when the carousel scrolls. Save the module to add it to your page.
