Content Editor - A UWSA employee responsible for editing and managing content for a Zeus community site. Content Editors have editorial responsibility for publishing site content and keeping it current.
Stakeholder - One of the roles in Zeus, Stakeholders have read-only access to a site in the Zeus content management system.
Editor - One of the roles in Zeus, Editors have the ability to create and edit community site content.
Administrator - Administrators are responsible for the overall functioning and availability of Zeus as a whole. They perform numerous 'under-the-hood' tasks.
Community Site - A community site is a central core of information on wisconsin.edu. A community site is centered around a specified topic and subject matter. Community site content has a target audience.
Dashboard - The first view seen after logging into the Zeus content management system.
Building Block - A piece of information, such as text, an image, a list, a carousel of images, etc., Building Blocks are used in the Zuse Create view of Pages, Reusable Content and Templates.
Template - A template contains a layout of Building Blocks for a site. Templates are intended to be used among more than one web page within the community site.
Page - A single document viewable in a website. When visitors to a website enter an address/URL in a Web browser, a web page loads. A web page has one address/URL.
Post - A post is designed to be used in a blog. Unlike pages, posts do not use Zuse Create. Posts can be accessed by address/URL, or by browsing a site's Categories and Tags. Posts can also be browsed by Date Range.
News Stories - New stories are a special type of post geared towards providing timely information. News Stories do not use Building Blocks, and can be viewed either directly, or by Category, Tag, or Date Range.
Category - A category is assisgned to display a collection of web pages, posts, files, and other site content. If assigned to content, a category can be used to view its related site content. Categories can be used to associate site content to a common theme. Categories are usually planned to match the nature and purpose of site content.
Tag - A common word used to associate a variety of site content. Tags are frequently used to define associated nouns to site content.Tags are sometimes visualized in a cloud, where larger tags illustrate a larger amount of information related to a particular tag.
