Rolling Out New Homepage

  1. Sync code.

    1. Make sure you get ACF plugin, new-hedgehog folder, update to uwsa-admin-menu-customization plugin acf-sync folder.

  2. Sync ACF field groups:

    1. Social media links

    2. Homepage identity statement

    3. Homepage alerts

    4. Homepage carousel

  3. Create new page.

    1. Update page template to “new-hedgehog/index.php”

    3. Save page then add page content.

  4. Create footer menus in menu collection and select the appropriate location.

  5. Preview the new homepage.

  6. Publish the new homepage.

  7. Specify the new page as the homepage.

    1. Navigate to Settings > Settings > Reading and use the Static page dropdown.
