Knowledgebase Articles
Knowledgebase Articles are used for the ‘how tos’ displayed on the Helpdesk portion of the Internal Operations website.
Create a KB Article
Log into the Internal Operations website.
On the left side menu, choose Knowledgebase > Articles > Add New
Add your title and the page content using the the Block Editor.
Add a category. All KB articles must have a category. On the right sidebar of the edit KB page, choose Categories and select the category.
Publish the article with the Publish button in the top right.
Archive Page
Knowledgebase articles are displayed on the archive page: https://internal-operations.uwss.wisconsin.edu/helpdesk/helpdesk-knowledgebase/
They are sorted into accordions based on category.
To edit the Popular Articles section, edit the archive page.
Order Categories and Articles
To change the order of the categories or articles on the site, navigate on the left side menu to Knowledgebase > Order. Drag and drop the items to order.
