Login and Access your Website

  1. Access your website by visiting https://www.wisconsin.edu/wp-admin/

  2. You will be redirected to the portal login, where you can select your organization from the dropdown, and login with your credentials.

  3. Once logged in, you will be redirected back to your site’s dashboard.
    *You can see which sites you have access to by hovering over the ‘My Sites’ menu item in the Admin bar.

  4. You will now see the admin bar at the top of the window(where you can navigate to other sites you manage, and add new content), and the menu items on the left side(which allows you to view and add new content, collections, and manage settings)

Add a New Page

  1. From your Admin Dashboard, click the ’Content’ button on the left side menu, then hover over ’Pages’ and select ’Add New Page’.

  2. You will be taken to the editor section of your new page, within the Gutenberg page builder.

  3. You can add a featured image(which shows as a hero image at the top of your page) edit the page’s publish status, security group, and weather to hide the page title or breadcrumbs from the public.

Save as a Draft and Preview the page

  1. From your Admin Dashboard, click the ’Content’ button on the left side menu, then hover over ’Pages’ and select ’Add New Page’.
