Rewrite & Republish

The Rewrite & Republish feature allows you to make draft updates to content on pages that are already live without publishing those changes immediately. It works by making a copy of the current page which can be updated, changed, and previewed without affecting the currently published page version. Once the page is updated to your satisfaction, the republished page takes the place of the current page.

There are two ways to access the Rewrite & Republish feature.

  1. On your dashboard, navigate to Content > Pages. Hover over the name of the page you want to edit, and then choose “Rewrite & Republish.”

  2. On the Edit Page screen for the page you want to edit, choose “Rewrite & Republish” from the Publish box on the upper right-hand side of the screen.

Once you have selected Rewrite & Republish using either of the two methods above, you will be taken to an Edit Page screen. Make as many updates to your page as you need. You can save a draft multiple times - just click the “Save Draft” button in the Republish box in the upper right-hand side of the screen.

You can also compare your updated page to the original version by clicking on the “Compare” button in the Republish box.

When you are happy with your new, draft page and are ready to replace the live version, simply click on the “Republish” button in the Republish box.

If you leave the Edit Page screen before you republish the page, the draft page will appear in your Dashboard under Content > All Pages, likely above the page you are editing. It should have “- Draft, Rewrite & Republish of Page Name” after the page name.

Once you republish the draft page, it will disappear from All Pages.
